SKZ Cottagecore Fest is a creative project where the members of Stray Kids are written into cottagecore themed stories.

GENERAL RULES

The story must be cottagecore theme.

Works must be properly tagged.

In order to submit an NSFW prompt, participants must be 18+.

Plagiarism is not allowed. The result of participating in plagiarism will be immediate blacklisting from the fest.

Works and prompts cannot be the continuation of previous work.
If your work is part of a series, it must be the first part.

Works must remain anonymous until the reveals.
You can share a WIP of your work as long as you do not give away your prompt.

The fest will send out check-ins to make sure participants are still active in the fest.

FEST RESTRICTIONS

Works must not contain the following subjects in explicit detail: rape ( non-explicit descriptions), pedophilia, grooming, underage, incest, dub-con, vore, gore, bestiality, necrophilia, non-trans gender-bending.

Works containing dark/sensitive themes are allowed as long as they are properly tagged.

The romanticization of mental health issues or toxic relationships is not allowed.

PROMPTING RULES

10 prompts per person can be submitted.

Make sure to specify “Do Wants” (DWs) and “Do Not Wants” (DNWs). Besides the guidelines, artists and writers will have the freedom to be creative with their works.

Original prompts must be sent in. If they are stolen, they will immediately be deleted.

CLAIMING RULES

2 prompts per creator. You can claim another prompt after writing your first!

Only one claim per prompt. During claiming time, prompts will be on a first come first serve basis.

In order to secure your claim, each participant must fill out a claiming form within the next 24 hours. If not filled out, the claim will be deleted and up for grabs.

Please respect the prompter’s DWs, DNWs, and ship choice.

GUIDELINES FOR WRITERS

2k is the minimum word count. There is no maximum word count, write to your heart’s content.

WIPS are allowed. The work needs to meet the minimum word count.

If you are submitting a WIP, please note that we will check whether your final work follows our rules and the fest restrictions. If it does not, we reserve the right to remove your fic from the collection.

GUIDELINES FOR ARTISTS

Your submission must be made via email to (fest email)

Artists will be posting their art on their accounts and tagging the fest account during reveals. The fest will retweet these posts as well as add them to our reveals thread.

When claiming, please do not use AO3’s claiming feature. This is to avoid any confusion with writers who are also claiming. Artists must fill out the artists’ claiming form once they have selected a prompt or self-prompt. You are allowed to choose a prompt that has also been claimed by a writer.
